Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you are on crutches, no need to worry! There is plenty of free parking available in the plaza! Most often, you can get a spot directly in front of the clinic. If you are on wheels, accessible parking is also available a few metres from the clinic, just around the corner.

  • You do NOT need a referral to come into the clinic and receive treatment. However, some insurance companies require a doctor’s referral for treatment in order for you to be reimbursed through your insurance provider. Make sure to check the details of your extended health benefits in advance.

  • Claudia, our office admin, has ninja-like skills when it comes to direct billing. However, even with our best efforts, some extended health benefit plans may not allow us to submit your claim. We advise checking the details of your insurance for this information.

If we are unable to directly bill your insurance company, you will be provided a receipt at the end of your session, which will allow you to self-submit.

  • In one word: comfortable. Clothing that will allow you to move is preferable. It’s best if the area being assessed can be exposed (e.g.; for a shoulder injury, wear a tank top or undershirt, for a hip issue, wear shorts or yoga pants). If you are unsure what to wear feel free to reach out!

  • Don't forget your authentic self! Also, bring any test reports or other medical documentation that is relevant to your condition. If you are a runner, make sure to bring your runners with you! Athletic footwear is also preferred if we need to assess movements like jumping.

  • Please fill out the intake forms that have been emailed to you before your appointment. If for some reason you haven’t received them, check your spam or give us a call! If you prefer to fill out a paper copy, feel free to arrive 10 minutes before your first appointment. This will help our practitioners to stay on time! We value all of our patients and we do our best not to run behind.

  • We have a small clinic dog named Noodle who is onsite most days! If you have an allergy or are afraid of dogs, please let us know before your appointment. You can also help us keep the clinic space clean by bringing an extra pair of athletic shoes, or just by simply removing your shoes when you enter.

  • Our services are not covered by OHIP. If you are looking for an OHIP clinic, feel free to check out this link.
