  • Specializing in Achilles rupture rehab and running injuries

  • Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy

  • Acupuncture/dry needling provider

Treatment Philosophy: I want to help people of all ages & levels reach their potential and optimize their recovery. Throughout my treatment sessions, I use a combination of techniques: sometimes I teach exercises, modify activities and use manual therapy. Otherwise, the emphasis is on education and honest conversation about outcomes and expectations. Every person and injury is unique; my job is to look at the big picture and find the right pieces of the puzzle.

  • Interests: I grew up eating, sleeping and breathing sports. In university I competed in track (800m and 1500m). I also dabbled in soccer, tennis, yoga and even tried fencing! Nowadays, I enjoy playing platform tennis (aka paddle). meditating, watching (women’s) sports and spending lots of time with our dog, Noodle.

Future professional development plans: We want to develop a world-class Achilles Rupture Rehab program at 416 Physio. We are adding new technology to our clinic (force plates, blood flow restriction)- perfecting the use of these tools and integrating them into our everyday patient care will be my focus.

Fun fact: The idea of the 416 Physio clinic started because of the “bench lady”. Also, my name Örsi is Hungarian and it is pronounced like Hershey without the H!
